Hi Friends!

I couldn't resist coloring up another cute image by s.w.a.l.k. this one is called Little Madam. This is for a friend's daughter who is having a "pinkalicious" 7th birthday party.  I'm hoping to get some Halloween projects done over the weekend, how about you?

Class Samples

My local scrapbooking store, Memories Live On, recently added the s.w.a.l.k. (sealed with a little kiss) line of stamps to their inventory. Whatcha Brewing?

I recently ran across a super cute and easy tutorial for this coffee cup card and had to give it a try. You can attach a gift card where I put the image but I couldn't resist using my newly purchased MFT stamp and best of all I used the paper crimper I've had for many moons!  The sentiment is made with MS Office Word.

New Stamp - Honey

I finally got myself some super cute stamps from CC Designs!  This card is for my middle daughter who will be going to science camp next week with her 5th grade class.

I think my coloring is a bit rusty due to lack of practice : )

Flowers and Banners From Corner Punches

I found my mojo over the weekend and  used MS corner punches to make the flowers and banners for the following projects.
The tutorials are from Fiskars HERE and HERE.

It was not in the plan, but if you look closely, the MS corner punches I used matches the patterns on the papers.  I guess it was meant to be : )

Still Here!

WOW! It's been a long time since my last post. The summer seems to be slipping by so quickly, I thought I would have more time to craft since the kiddos are out of school, but obviously not.  We only have another 1.5 weeks left.  I have not been stamping much (at all), but trying to finish up a crochet project that has been waaaay over due.

Here is a card I made a while ago using Nesties Blossom die, leaves and sentiment are from Hero Arts.  I hope you are having a great summer.

Paint

Summer vacation has officially started for us, my kids and I had a fun day shopping, baking and then my girls talked me into painting my nails blue today!  Aaack!  kinda fun huh?

Here's a different kind of paint(ing)...this is one of the samples for my next class this coming Saturday at Memories Live On in Cupertino.

Sweet Mermaid

Yesterday was the last day of school for my kids, I still can't get a grip on how fast the year went by.  I'm hoping that the summer vacation will not whiz by either.

I made this card for my son's teacher using the sketch from The Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #4, it also qualifies for the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge #79 - Anything Goes.

Pop-Up Poppies

Last week I made this card for the Hero Arts' Fabulous Flowers Challenge.  The larger flowers were stamped three separate times, colored with Copics, cut up and then glued back together to give it a 3D effect. The best part was that I didn't have to color within the lines!   I think this will be one of those cards that I can't give away : )

Thinking of...

I've been EXTREMELY busy these last few weeks with kids school functions. Only two more weeks of school left, I'm not sure if I'm happy about it.  I see the last day of school as my kids being another year older and that's just not right, seems like yesterday I was changing their diapers.

Anyhoo, that is the reason for lack of creating lately.  I leave you with this Tilda card I made a while back but never posted.

More Thank Yous

I've been looking for some ideas on how to make Ghirardelli chocolate holders and found a few but this one caught my eyes.  It's super easy and cute!  You can find the instructions HERE.  The toughest part was deciding which paper to use! : )  I spent the morning making these for a few friends.

This cute stamp is from Penny Black called Country Lady, I've had it forever and it's still one of my favorites.

Thank You - Xie Xie Ni

Spring Break came and went before I knew it.  Needless to say, I did not get much crafting in.  I threw this card together late last night for our mailman who is retiring after many years of service.

All stamps are by Hero Arts, the characters say "xie xie ni" which means "thank you".

Monochromatic

Good Friday Friends!

Today is the last day of school before spring break for my kids, I'm looking forward to a week of no schedule to keep.  Yippee!  Hoping to have lots of time to craft.

I made this card  using another newly purchased Hero Arts stamp, Butterfly Flowers.  It's so fun to color! I used Copics B23, B32 and B000 then added Glossy Accent for a raised effect.  The butterfly is colored with  Broken China Distress Ink and  Perfect Pearl Mists then doodled with a white pen.
